Training SchoolsEach year the TNPGA offers a variety of training schools throughout Tennessee. The schools are open to all companies involved in the propane business; however, TNPGA members receive special discounts on registration and materials.

Annual State ConventionAll TNPGA members are invited to attend the TNPGA Annual Convention. This convention is not only educational, but entertaining as well. TNPGA members are encouraged to attend and learn about the latest market trends and marketing strategies, and to network with others in the propane business.

ScholarshipsThe TNPGA offers four $2,000 scholarships each year. The scholarships are paid in equal amounts each quarter or semester, according to school requirements. Application for the scholarships are limited to children of parents who are currently working in sales, deliveries, service, manufacturing and/or administration in the propane industry, who have been employed no less than one year in the industry prior to application and whose company is a member in good standing in the association. The applicant must be a senior in a certified high school planning to enter college the year following graduation from high school, or a student already in college with plans to re-enroll the following year. An average 2.5 grade point average must be maintained.

LobbyingThe TNPGA offers full-time lobbying services. Your membership helps support the lobbying efforts, both legislatively and regulatory, of the whole propane industry. The more members an association has, the more legislative power it possesses.
